Coffee house

Freshly brewed coffee and tea, with home baked pretzel, ad libitum for only DKK 60 per person.

Visitors may not bring along their own picnics.

 

Recipe for Anne Just’s pretzel

The dough:
300 g wheat flour
200 g butter
50 g yeast
2 tbsp lukewarm water
2 eggs
50 g sugar

The filling:
150 g butter
50 g sugar
50 g brown sugar
Grains from half a vanilla pod
50 g Raisins
3-4 rusks, 50g chopped walnuts or flaked almonds.

Method:
Rub the butter into the flour. Whip the yeast, sugar, water and eggs lightly and add to the mix. Knead into ball and allow to rise while you make the filling.

Filling:
Whisk the butter and sugars together, and then fold in the other ingredients.

Roll out the dough into a bar shape. Butter on the filling and roll to form a roulade. Allow to rise for 15 minutes. Brush all over with egg and sprinkle with pearl sugar.

Bake for 30-40 minutes at 170 degrees centigrade.
